| Contactless payments – fast, convenient, and secure. A new payment technology, already proven worldwide. Compared to a cash payment, a contactless transaction is a much faster, more convenient, and more secure way to pay. Experience from other countries shows that a contactless payment only takes a few seconds. |
| When purchasing goods or services under CZK 500, you no longer have to look for your cash, hand your payment card to the cashier, swipe it in a reader and enter your PIN; nor is the payment card holder's signature required as it used to be. You simply place the contactless payment card near the reader, which will read your data without any contact required, and you have paid. For purchases over CZK 500, the reader will ask for your PIN, but you continue to hold on to your card and have it constantly under control. A contactless payment option is ideal wherever fast transactions are required – e.g., in fast food restaurants, at newsstands, car parks, or in municipal public transport. |

| Vendors accepting contactless payments are already widespread abroad – e.g., in the UK, Spain, France, the USA, Switzerland, Slovakia, and other countries. |
| You can, for example, make a contactless payment in a Pret a Manger sandwich outlet in London, at McDonald's at the Zurich airport, in a Carrefour supermarket in Paris, or at the Bratislava ZOO. A list of vendors who accept contactless payments is available at http://www.mastercard.us/cardholder-services/paypass-locator.html |
| In the Czech Republic, the first contactless payment terminals will be launched in the second half of 2011, and we expect a major expansion in the coming years. Payment terminals accepting contactless payment cards will show this symbol: |

| HOW A CONTACTLESS PAYMENT WORKS: |
- The vendor enters the transaction amount and the contactless reader asks the credit card owner to use their card with contactless payment technology.
- The customer holds his or her credit card in front of the reader – the terminal then confirms both visually and with a sound signal that the card has been read. The payment is authorized within a few moments. For transactions that do not exceed a set amount (CZK 500), it is only required to touch the card and go, without entering a PIN code. Larger transactions must be authorised with a PIN or the credit card holder's signature.

| With the PayPass™ payment solution, you are not limited to a classic card design. This revolutionary technology will also be offered in the form of a special contactless payment sticker, which we will issue upon your request as a supplementary card to your principal one. This sticker can be attached for example to the back cover of your mobile phone, giving you a convenient payment tool that is always readily at hand. |
