To help you better manage your money we offer you a special service by connecting your current and savings accounts. Your money can be automatically transferred from your current account to savings account so you can enjoy higher interest rate.

Auto-sweep function enables you to manage your finances in an easier and smarter way. You can set up minimum and maximum balance limits on your current account. If your current account balance is below minimum or above maximum limit we will automatically transfer money to or from your savings account at the end of each day. Auto-sweep function will help you make better use of any extra money you have.

For transfer between your current and savings accounts you can also use Citibank Online or you can visit any of our branches.

Interest is credited monthly, your money is always available and insured according to the Act on Banks 21/1992.

We would like to inform you of changes in the retail products offered by Citibank Europe plc, organizační složka (Citibank).

Effective 1 September 2011 there will be a change in the List of Charges, based on a new method for calculating interest on deposits that is different from the identical interest rate currently earned by deposits of any amount. The change involves the introduction of differential interest rates, and there will also be a change in the interest rates earned by savings accounts that are part of the Citi Konto package.

As of this date, the new savings account interest rates will be set as follows:

For the purpose of determining the interest level, deposits will be divided into the individual amounts of the given level, and interest will be determined for each separate level. The total interest earned is the sum of individual interest amounts paid out for the deposit at each specific interest level. This means, for example, that in the case of a deposit of CZK 530,000 for one year the interest earned will be the sum of the relevant amount of interest on (i) CZK 99,999 at the CZK 0 to CZK 99,999 level, (ii) on CZK 400,000 at the CZK 100,000 to 499,999 level and (iii) on CZK 30,001 at the CZK 500,000 to CZK 999,999 level.
